Reason for selling: It's not an ocean kayak, it makes my partner sea sick, and I don't have kids.

This was my first kayak. I bought it for ocean kayaking because I had no room for a hardshell kayak and wanted something I could easily store and transport so I wouldn't have to rent. I was quite naive about kayaks at the time. I took it out about three times on lakes to test it. It was a lot of fun, but I found that it was much slower than hardshell kayaks and takes more effort to paddle when the wind kicks up, so it isn't good for longer ocean/bay kayak trips (5+ miles further out from shore).
The kayak is rated for class 1 rivers and I think it's better suited to rivers and for family play on lakes or along the ocean shoreline. I don't do river kayaking, I found out kayaking makes my partner sea sick, and I don't have kids, so I never used the kayak and it's time to sell it.

The kayak has been stored in its transport bag indoors, out of the sun. There is no color fading. If the color looks faded in these pictures, it's an illusion caused by the glare of the sun when I was taking the pictures.

Below is the footpump

The kayak inflated. Sorry, the paddles are NOT included with the kayak.

Below shows the skeg on the bottom of the kayak. The skeg is not actually installed in these pictures--it's put together and is just resting on the bottom of the kayak where it would normally be installed. I didn't install it because I was photographing the kayak on land.

The slits on the bottom of the kayak that you see in the next photo are where the skeg flanges get inserted when installing the skeg. If you choose to use the skeg, you need to install it before inflating the kayak.

The repair kit includes six repair patches, two backup airway plugs for the seat and foot cushions, plus two backup air-hose nozzles that fit the kayak's inflation holes.
